San Diego, California – Wawanesa General Insurance (Wawanesa Insurance) announced today that it is doubling its community support as part of the company’s overall Caring Together initiative to partner with people and organizations addressing COVID-19 related issues and working to end social injustice.

The new funds – totaling $400,000 – will be allocated to Civil Rights organizations, specifically the NAACP and National Urban League; United Way COVID-19 response, food banks and hospital foundations.
